My journey started in the horse world and my love for ranch dogs which led to me getting a working line Border Collie but there was something different about this dog. As time went on I realized that he was in fact deaf and I dove headfirst into the world of not only dog training but E-Collar training as well!
My Story
My professional experience started in a place that most of you know of and that is Petsmart! After working there for some time and learning clicker training, I wanted to branch out into E-Collar work as my deaf Border Collie would come with me to tend to my horses and for obvious reasons I could not give him any commands unless he was looking at me. This continued my journey and I ended up working at a balanced training facility where I learned not only how to train in a balanced way but also how to work with dogs that have behavior issues, anxiety, reactivity, household problems, puppy foundation work, and am now entering the world of learning sport foundation work!
